WOYWW: A mess!

I was looking at this mess and trying to figure out how I could finish this moleskine spread I am working on without having to clean it up when I remembered it's Wednesday and time for WOYWW.

I am trying to get this moleskine out the door since it was due at the beginning of the month and I am having serious problems with it.  I am also waiting for ink to thaw, which is awesome.. haha!  AND I need to upgrade my computer from 32 bit to 64 bit windows, so that's why those discs are there.  IT NEVER STOPS being overwhelming around here. ;)

  5. Thanks for stopping by my blog - the title 'Chronicles' is just right for a certain way of art journaling and I love that you came up with that name too . I myself started calling my weekly diary-art-journals "The Chronicles" back in 2010, and I know there are more people using that name... which is awesome... let's overflow the world with bright and creative Chronicles! Ha! Happy (belated) woyww and a hug from Holland, Marit #70

    1. ooooo they're actually Aquamarkers! They're both made by Letraset, though.. I used to use copics/prismacolors, but they fade, and that makes me paranoid, so I gave all of my markers away :D Aquamarkers are pigment-based and watersoluble. They're all kinds of awesome!

    2. Do Copics really fade? Crap - I have a LOAD of them! Only used in sketchbooks at the mo though.

    3. They really do... I think in the sketchbook it is probably fine, but sunlight kills them.

    4. Double crap! Now I know why I got them for such a reasonable price!

    5. Oh haha no don't stress. They are awesome.. I am just paranoid. You can get uv sealer that should help!

  8. Whoa, haha, hardly any room for painting and stuff. Which is uh, kinda like my desk. Because lately I'm trying to jam all the Copic cup holders beside my computer, because the little table in back is overrun with painting supplies. Sometimes I try to clean up. As for waiting for ink to thaw.... LOL! :D

    1. I know!!! I had to clean it to do the video, so it's much less bananas at this point. every time I get ink delivered I have to wait for it to thaw! ;)

  9. Ow! Overwhelmed is not good - it crapmps our style and causes you to stresss and seizes the mojo and that makes you run late. Try to chill. Step back and look at your lovely inviting desk...one thing at a time!

  12. One very busy desk,
Ink freezing sounds strange to me here, but it never really gets cold enough for that. Hope you get your project finished soon.

  13. Shivering at the thought of you defrosting your ink. Had to bring in all my watercolour paints and pencils from the shedio when I realised the air must be damp out there when I saw the writing on my white board had started to run down the board! Whoops!

Mermy is all done now - she has a big butt and big boobies and claws... so perhaps not the purty mermaid my friend is expecting to join her...shoal? Flock? School? Of mermaid art that she already has! I hope she still likes ;) I'll blog when she's received it :P

    1. Yeah, long mornings in the freezing fedex truck will do it. ;) Ohhhhhhhhhh yeh that's not good! :/

Yay I can't wait to see it! There is totally room for more freaky mermaids in the world.
